Coconut, garlic, cinnamon, chili, tamarind… Those are just a few of the ingredients used at Bonjour Saigon. You can taste the fresh herbs and vegetable in every dish. From Nam No Beef Noodles to Tofu lemongrass ginger rice to classic curry, the menu offers everything your Vietnamese heart desires.
In the summer you should definitely try “Bun Gha Gio Chay”: Vermicceli Noodles with vegetarian spring rolls. Served with vegetables, Vietnamese herbs, peanuts and lemon dressing (11.90€). Refreshing and light dish perfect for the summer.
If you are around for lunch, you can also get nice and cheap lunch deals here, for example, the chili-ginger duck for 8.90€ instead of 15.90€. I would also recommend making a reservation for a bigger group in the evening, especially on the weekends.
Bonjour Saigon is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant where you can feel that they are proud of their country. It’s nice to see how they try to explain their customers a little bit more about their culture. For example, they have a glossary of the most important Vietnamese ingredients they use in the menu and explain the importance and meaning of the Buddha.
