DREILAND – Idyllic beer garden in the outskirts

This hidden gem is located in the middle of nowhere between the districts of Bocklemünd, Ossendorf and Pesch in the far northwest of the city. I ended up in the area on a bike tour and I’m still excited about the discovery. DREILAND is a beautiful pop-up beer garden on the former site of a whimsical ranch. Tables are spread out under hazelnut bushes, shady trees and old sheds, beautifully illuminated by candles and fairy lights in the evening.

The team of the “Dreigang Supper Club” made this summer dream come true. On weekends they serve delicious food (all local/regional) and an excellent selection of drinks to the folks that make it all the way out to suburbia. The setting is completed by the musical vibes of DJ Cem aka Beatpackers, who regularly performs here.

You can get to DREILAND by public transport, line 3 to the terminus Görlinger Zentrum, then a 15-minute walk. But I recommend going by bike – that makes the trip “into the woods” perfect!
