Ladies, this unique spot is especially for you! In a pleasant little side street of the busy Venloer Straße in Ehrenfeld you’ll find Rock-it-baby.
In this cute little store you can revel in a huge selection of skirts designed by Rock-it-baby founder Sabine Berndt, who is herself a passionate skirt wearer. Skirt in German is “Rock” and that’s how the name for the brand and shop was born.
Each skirt is produced in Europe, in a limited edition, from very small to big sizes. There are designs for every shape, and if you are not sure which cut suits you best, you will get competent personal support by Sabine or her helpful staff.
Besides the skirts you have a range of basic short- or long-sleeved shirts and accessories, and some years ago Rock-it-baby also came up with blazers and coats, which perfectly fit with the skirts. Sabine’s latest creations are ingeniously cut dresses which run under the label “Püppchen”.
Whenever I enter the store, I can hardly resist trying on some of the latest models and I rarely leave without a new skirt or dress.
And by the way, just in case you come along with male companion, I recommend to have a look next door where Sabine’s husband Achim runs Herrenbude, an equally charming store for men’s fashion.
