Yeah, so obviously I am not a man, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate good quality men’s wear when I see it. Minimalistic and edgy are the ultimate keywords to describe this retail store and the designs it provides – the unofficial manifesto states that the clean Danish aesthetics is mixed with “the rowdy Danish worker”-type.
Located in the more secluded shopping district of central Copenhagen, I find this shop to be utterly serene and calm. This could of course have something to do with the sleek design of the interior and the fact that each item is neatly presented in order of color and style (I’m telling you, this kind of obsessive order will be pure zen for you, after you’ve been shuffling in and out of shops in ‘Strøget’). The staff is helpful and tends to your needs from the moment you enter the door.
I have been a fan of Han Kjøbenhavn’s selection of sunglasses ever since I discovered the place a couple of years back. If you ask me (or the guy who sold me the shades), you don’t have to be of a specific gender to wear this kind of exquisite eyewear.
