Rødder & Vin is located right next to Queen Louise’s bridge in Copenhagen. If you don’t now what that is, then just visit.
People hang out here every time the sun is shining. You can often find pop-up events, festivals and “rave parties” going on in summertime. The streets nearby are also crawling with bars, restaurants, take-away shops and more.
One of my top places around is this wine shop. Solfinn is the owner and he is the kindest of them all. He knows everything you need to know about his many bottles of natural wines, ciders, sake and beers and I can guarantee he will greet you with a smile.
This is where I get my supply of good taste, stories and lots of recommendations, as he seems to know his neighborhood very well! Not to mention quite a few spots around Paris, Barcelona, Faroe Islands etc as well, so if you are travelling through Europe, he has got recommendations for sure.
So forget all about the cheap wine at the supermarkets and treat yourself with a different and delicious bottle instead. Take it to the bridge on a sunny day and get the Copenhagen feeling while watching the many bikers drive by.
TIP: Ask Solfinn (or the friendly staff) for any pop-up events or restaurants around – if he is not a part of any himself, he can probably come up with a few other good pieces of advice on where to go.
