WokOn is a small wok restaurant with an Asian culinary mix between Thai and Japanese cuisine. WokOn is situated very centrally in Copenhagen.
Although the busy shopping street of Strøget is only 75 m. away, WokOn doesn’t seem to be in an overcrowded area and the place is sort of cut off from all the shopaholics and tourist hubs. All this said, if you care to sit outside and enjoy your food, you can look directly at Christiansborg, which is the old castle of the king and nowadays houses the parliament and the government of Denmark.
WokOn’s interior is very minimalistic, with shiny tiles on the floor and basic but modern furniture.
The food is wok-based on Thai cuisine, where you can choose between rice, rice-noodles, egg-noodles etc. Besides this, you can choose your sauce which can be teriyaki or different Thai curries and on top of this you can add beef, chicken, tofu, prawns etc. All of this is fried in the wok with fresh vegetables!
My personal favourite is teriyaki and tofu!
It’s delicious!
