A cocktail bar which actually managed to keep the focus on their main product – the cocktails at the bar.

Zefside is located in a high basement, with a low ceiling. The DJ is placed to the side in a space stripped of high tables and chairs – some would call it the dance floor, some would call it waiting by the bar with a groove. The bar is stretched throughout the room and is the focus of the whole place, which makes sense when they make such damn good cocktails.

The music is everything you know from the hit-list (both now and back then) but mixed and mashed into a groove. In the back you have the big sofas that you definitely need to share with someone, which is good, because the people who come here, come to chat.

Make sure to try the zombie – a jug full of pink joy and a flaming passion fruit on top. And yes, there is fire, which means guys can get away with drinking it as well. The prices are fair for a downtown bar, and you get what you pay for. Get here early, to hit up the happy hour (16:00 - 22:00 on Fridays) and get a good spot for people watching the rest of the night.
