Eatyard Dublin

Eatyard – International street food

The Bernard Shaw pub is a centre of a whole conglomerate of food and drink places. While The Big Blue Bus (check my article!) is hidden in the courtyard, Eatyard is right there on display, providing a quick food option to passers-by with its outdoor food stalls and seating.

It opened in Autumn 2016, and has been a success ever since. Some food stalls stay the same, but quite a few rotate, so I try to drop by every few weeks to see what’s on order. Some of the stalls offer fairly standard options, such as lunch boxes, burgers or churros; some others are quite unusual: from unique cupcake masterpieces to bubble waffles, to Ireland’s first smoothie bowls.

For me, the Eatyard is a cosy and welcoming place, ever popular throughout the year, even when you’d think the weather is a bit too harsh to eat outside. There’s always new stuff to try, and it can be good as a quick lunch option or a pre-drink snack.
