Offal is a very popular street food in Florence, and this is a very good place to taste it. It is a really local eatery, born as a wine shop now it has been enlarged and can be considered a proper restaurant.
There is no English spoken here and the service is not exactly flawless, but there is no issue with communication when you have a glass of wine in hand. Lampredotto and tripe are always available but some days you can find other very interesting dishes such as the “budellina” that I really love. Wine is sold pouring from barrels and there is a pretty large variety to choose from. Open from lunch until after dinner, it is especially crowded for aperitivo, with many young Florentines – it will be difficult to find tourists here.
The location is out of the city center in a residential area but easy to reach with a nice walk.
