The last Sunday of the month there’s the collectors’ antique market in Piazza dei Ciompi. You can find furniture, design objects, porcelain and a lot of other curious things. I love markets everywhere and always manage to find an excuse to not leave empty handed. Even if there’s no space left in your suitcase I still recommend having a look to get inspiration or just to enjoy the wonderful Sunday atmosphere.
Piazza dei Ciompi is a very nice square where a small area has permanent stands with interior design items, buttons and more that you can visit anytime. There are also a few antiquarians on the square that are open the other days of the week and some nice restaurants to try. Next to Piazza dei Ciompi there’s Sant’Ambrogio that is another fun zone to explore more.
If you miss the market on Piazza dei Ciompi check out the other Sunday markets like the ones at Piazza Santo Spirito and Giardino della Fortezza.
