Inside the historical central market, located in the fisheries corner, this is my favorite spot when I have the desire to have a plate of incredibly fresh seafood. Here I had the best mixed fried seafood cone of my life and even the fish sandwich has been unforgettable for me. My partner instead is addicted to the grilled skewers.
The two owners prepare new dishes daily based on newly arrived fresh fish. The fried seafood cone and the grilled fish plate are always available. They have great oysters too. The excellent house wine is served by the glass for only 2€, and also some select bio wines or prosecco. Prices are reasonable, so this is the only place I know in Florence where I can have a great seafood meal without getting a loan.
This is the place I would like to keep only for myself, as it has only 8 seats, but my mission is to make people happy… just remember that is open only for lunch.
