Ayursoul is an exciting new opening in Sachsenhausen’s Brückenviertel. Kerstin and Mark Rosenberg, who are well known for their expertise on Ayurveda in their institute in Birstein, have created a charming living room where you can sit, relax and enjoy coffee, tea, drinks and small tapas-size snacks – all of course strictly ayurvedic.
I like the charming atmosphere and love the art they are presenting on their walls, all beautiful pieces of nicely selected tribal Indian Gond- and Warli-Art. Difficult to say if Ayursoul is a cafe, a gallery or a shop; well actually it’s all in one.
Their shop specializes in ayurvedic nutrition, spices, teas and coffees, but also has a lovely little gift items and books, and of course the art I mentioned is on sale.
Ayursoul has a busy calendar of different events, such as brunches on weekends, lectures in the cafe and cooking demos in the kitchen, all bookable through an online tool. They also run small workshops in their new Frankfurt site, where participants can get a first idea of many of the ayurvedic subjects they offer in their famous institute in Birstein, just one hour outside Frankfurt.
I have started to stop by Ayursoul when in Sachsenhausen for a small snack or an espresso and am looking forward to their new idea, hopefully starting soon, of offering take-away lunch in traditional Indian Lunch-Boxes!
