Snug red couches, fresh flowers, elegant wooden tables, candles and decorative bottles on the wall: the perfect recipe for a favorite winebar. The name of the winebar “Stilbruch” translates into “stylistic inconsistency”, which definitely does not reflect the decorative character of the bar.
The menu offers mostly regional wines from the winemakers at Rollanderhof; the owner Andreas is very knowledgeable about his wines and always happy to give excellent recommendations and/or sit down for little talks. For the hungry, they offer little snacks, like olives and cheese and free mini pretzels (yay!). Once a month, different bands play live music on Fridays and turn the place into a laid-back dance bar – check their website for upcoming events. Otherwise, me and my friends like to visit Stilbruch in the early evening for a quick after-work drink before heading home. The clientele is mixed, and it’s ideal to grab seats by the entrance, since you can also watch people passing by outside while still enjoying the vibe of the place inside.
