Chez ma cousine (“At my cousin’s”) offers tasty and cheap chicken dishes daily in downtown Geneva.
The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for a lunch between two visits or an improvised dinner. The unpaired crockery makes me feel as if we where having meal at a relative’s home.
The most popular dish is a half-roasted chicken served with country potato wedges and salad for CHF 16.40. The menu also proposes salads, soups (veggie or with chicken) and dessert. There’s also the typical apple juice, if you want.
The restaurant is perfectly located in the old town, on the way to the Bourg de four (check Café du Bourg de four) or the cathedral (check Tower of St Pierre Cathedral), in an old building. As Chez ma cousine is very welcoming, you can find three other restaurants (Rue Lussigol 5 / Boulevard du Pont-d’Arve 44 / Chemin du Petit-Saconnex 2).
