It has an odd name for a strange or genius concept, depending on the point of view. It is a culture lab, a showroom promoting local designers and talents, a hairdresser, a tattoo parlor, a co-working space; it also hosts exhibits, yoga, Pilates and drawing classes and various workshops such as how to become an entrepreneur. For instance, I will be attending a Macramé plant hanger class at the beginning of May. It is a melting pot for locals, artists and tourists alike; a space constantly re-inventing itself, a living and a meeting space. It also has a food booth in partnership with Street Gourmet, a local healthy eatery that you can find on Rue du Prince in the city center.
Foound is trying to revolutionize Geneva and their initiative should be promoted and applauded. I go there from time to time to attend the after-work events, I was there for the opening of their second space and I went there on a Sunday to shop second hand clothes at a sort of garage sale but for clothes only. It is definitely worth a visit.
