Genève Roule – Ça roule!

Visiting a city may be tiring and at some point you just cannot walk anymore, I know that very well. So whenever I have friends visiting Geneva, I suggest that we discover the city by bike. While the traffic might sometimes be a bit challenging, there are beautiful bike paths along the lake and in the many parks. Another fun option is to go on a tour to the vineyards or to Nyon for instance. If you are too lazy, rent an electro bike!

So I always take my friends to Genève Roule where one can rent bikes for free for 4 hours (if you exceed four hours you’ll pay 2 francs for every other hour). I used this service a lot myself before I had my own bike, now I am really glad that this project allows my visitors without bikes to join me on my tours.

They have several locations in Geneva and provide this amazing service from April until the end of October. Renting a bike from Genève Roule is a lot of fun and on top we support a really great cause: the association employs refugees, asylum seekers and out-of-work people and helps them to reintegrate into the professional life. All you need is an identification card and 20 francs as a deposit.

There are 8 locations where you can rent bikes:
Place des Nations
Place du Rhône
