In the mood for a crispy but fluffy comfort food, but don't want a pizza? Enter pinsa. I must admit I didn't know what a pinsa was before an outlet opened right next to where I live, but I am a convert now.
One of the newest eateries in town, Pinsa! strives to be a flavour bomb. With a fairly limited menu and seating options, they promise good vibes and great food. Their offerings are available as dine-in and takeaway options. I tried their Margherita Stracciatella and Parmigiana Scomposta pinsas and was impressed with the Margherita one.
Very airy and fluffy dough and creamy toppings seem to give similar satisfaction as a pizza will, but are healthier and gentler on the body. Less guilt too, I guess.
I will definitely go back here to try more of their menu, but right now it is my newest favourite spot for a pizza-alternative.
