Prince – Share food

My parents lost their heart in Italy, and every summer they go there for two weeks. We had to join them until we were 18. One summer I was home alone with my brother, we really sucked at taking care of ourselves. My parents had left two teenagers in Belgium while they were enjoying their vino y pasta. So one of my brothers’ friends was feeling sorry for us and came to cook. Of course as the little irresponsible toddlers that we were, we didn’t go to a store in like… a week. But then the unexpected happened, he made food with the few ingredients left in the fridge that we didn’t think much of. And I’m still not sure if it was because I was starving or because it was actually so fricking good, but that was one of the best meals I had in years!

Well to tell a story short: that friend of my brother and another friend opened their own restaurant. It is the hippest place in Ghent! There are actual trees with flowers in the interior… It just looks so fabulous and I didn’t talk about the food yet. If I can recommend you something, it is for sure this place! The food is just amazing! The concept is sharing, so if you’re not afraid to share some food with your beloved ones, you should definitely go there. I actually tried almost everything from the menu and I can’t wait until I go back.
