Bar 67 can be found in Glasgow’s East End district of the Gallowgate. Situated right across the road from the world-famous Glasgow Barrowland’s Ballroom, it is perfect for a pint prior to a gig or if you are heading to see Glasgow Celtic in Parkhead.
There is no disguising which bar this caters to as it is flooded with Celtic FC memorabilia. On game day, this bar will be rammed full of Celtic fans from Glasgow, Ireland and the world over.
The bar takes its name from the year Celtic FC won the European Cup (today’s Champions League) in 1967, thus becoming the 1st British team to ever with the iconic football trophy.
This is a perfect bar to visit if you are heading to the football stadium at Celtic Park but it is also a prime spot for a Gallowgate pub crawl. This isn’t a bar I visit all too often (as I don’t support Celtic) but it is still a good bar to get lost in all the Celtic memorabilia on the walls. Also, for £2 you can get a photo with the European Cup (replica) – a great souvenir for the Celtic fan in your life.
