If you want to to step back from the hustle and bustle of city-center life, why not take some time to practice guided yoga, or try a session if you are new to it? Down in Partick area, close to Byres Road, Yoga Healing Glasgow is a small yoga studio welcoming everybody for drop-in sessions, with a totally relaxing vibe. I started going there three years ago and I have honestly valued every minute I’ve spent there since!
The studio offers various types of classes, from gentle restorative yoga to dynamic Hatha yoga, as well as Vinyasa and Pilates. All sessions take place in daytime or evenings, in small groups, and generally last 1h15m. Longer workshops are also organised Saturday mornings. Complimentary mats are supplied.
Not only are the classes suitable to people of all levels and experience, but the founder Anthea is the kindest teacher with a deep knowledge of her subject and effortless guidance and adaptation to the students. This makes a big impact on me every time. She loves what she does and thrives to make everybody leave the studio with renewed energy.
So, if you are interested, check the weekly timetable to find the suitable class for you, or contact Anthea on her website. You will not be disappointed!
