If at one point in your exploration of Glasgow’s bustling city life you feel a need to step back, why not take a couple of hours to practice guided yoga? Or try a session if you are new to it?
Down in Partick area, close to Byres Road lies Yoga Healing Glasgow, a small studio with a totally relaxing vibe. Here, everybody is welcome for drop-in sessions, with a choice of classes ranging from gentle restorative yoga to more dynamic Hatha yoga, Vinyasa flow but also Pilates.
Not only are the classes suitable to people of all levels and experience, but the founder, Anthea, is the kindest teacher, with a deep knowledge of her subject and effortless guidance to her students. I started attending her classes three years ago and I have valued every minute I have spent there since, always leaving the studio with a renewed energy!
Sessions take place in daytime and evenings, in small groups, and generally last 1h15m. Besides, longer workshops are organised on weekends. Complimentary mats are supplied.
