Luckily, everywhere in Germany we have a big mix of cultures. You can meet local people with backgrounds from all over the world, listen to foreign languages and get to know different habits or religions by just talking to your neighbors. On top of that, you can find delicious international food stores. This particular one is my favorite grocery store for Turkish food and fruits.
Even when I know that there are some leftovers in my fridge, I sometimes can’t resist those good-looking and -smelling edibles. The one and only negative thing about this is that you will definitely buy too much for you to eat.
One pot of hummus and other pastes made of avocado, tuna or dates combined with flatbread, some cream cheese and olives? And, of course, don’t miss out on the pistachios. Weren’t those strawberries? Just get them. Maybe you will need an Ayran for the taste? Be prepared and bring a big bag with you, just in case.
