Convivial, welcoming Oma’s Apotheke in Hamburg is always very crowded, because you’ll get really good food, and even more importantly for a few people, real big portions for little money during the whole day.

There’s breakfast during the week from 09:00 and lunch from 11:30. Actually, I could recommend everything on the menu. My favourite is the Pasta Marco Polo with fried chicken slices, broccoli and tomato sauce for € 6.90. The French Fries here are the best in Schanze. If you wanna go for breakfast, they have a student breakfast with bread, butter, jam, honey, cheese, sausage, orange juice, fruit salad and (all you can drink) coffee.

Sometimes you might not find a seat. Ask the super friendly staff if there’s going to be a free table soon and just wait few minutes.
