Quán Đỏ (which means both “red place” and “respect”) is a cool dining spot in Hamburg to eat real original Vietnamese food like Phở (Vietnames soup), Bún chả (rice noodles with salad and served with grilled tofu/pork/beef) or Mì xào (fried noodles with vegetables, optional with meat). Meanwhile, I can recommend all kinds of food they serve, I’m there frequently.
Cà phê trứng (traditional Vietnamese coffee traditionally prepared with egg yolks which they serve here with sugared milk) is an absolute genius finisher of your meal. Take your time to enjoy this lovely, tasty trip to Vietnam in the streets of Hamburg in this beautiful red house right beside the central station.
The place is cosy, chaotic and full of life. The staff is extraordinary friendly. The visitors are international. The smell is authentic Vietnamese.
