This small tapas restaurant in the Töölö district, nearby the opera, is well known among locals, but not so much by visitors. There are quite a few Tapas bars in the city centre but I never found them so appealing and mostly very expensive.
I was very happy when I got this recommendation and was very surprised when I went there! The place isn’t very big so I recommend making a reservation if you plan to go there during regular dinner hours, it’s decorated typically Mediterranean and quite cozy due to the size. Teos offers a nice selection of cold and warm tapas, as well as a number of desserts in tapas size, almost all of them for the same price, and they all tasted fantastic. Rare for Helsinki is a bottle of wine that costs less than € 20, and their bottle of (very well chosen) red wine is only € 13!
They also have a few places to dine outside the restaurant, which is a very nice spot for a warm summer night to enjoy some great food and wine!
