For years I’ve been hoping for someone to recognise the significant lack of Vietnamese food in Helsinki, and I believe people are finally realising it now! From a tiny little coffee shop in the centre, this lovely Vietnamese couple finally moved to open a real restaurant. The location might be a bit misleading, as you probably wouldn’t expect such a lovely place inside a shopping mall…
They serve authentic Vietnamese Pho soup – a delicious broth with rice noodles, herbs and typically served with beef or chicken (but a vegetarian/vegan option is also available) and it’s to.die.for. It’s the perfect feel-good-food, plus it’s super fresh and healthy. For lunch you can get the Pho at a pretty nice deal. Also the rice-noodle salad is fantastic. I hope they extend their menu as they go on! Try the Vietnamese coffee with sweet milk for dessert!
An ideal stop after shopping and sightseeing but it will also be a regular lunch spot for me no matter how far away from it I will be!
