Oh, just thinking of those pizzas makes me hungry again! Putte’s offers you pizzas that are of a more traditional style than the “regular Finnish” pizza-place. The selection of toppings is quite small but all of them are absolutely mouthwatering. Their specials change according to the season and they always offer a nice twist on seasonal vegetables. Putte’s regular menu is also very nice! The drinks are also customized according to season.

The place is a nice combination of a modern style restaurant with a pretty cool industrial, chic styled interior. You order your food and drinks directly at the counter behind which you can watch the pizza bakers prepare the food fresh. Even years after I first wrote this article, I still stand by my statement that these are the best pizzas in town.

The location is super-central and yet not directly in the rush of the city. You can enjoy your pizza while looking through the huge windows and watch Helsinki life pass by.
