Whichever time of year or weather: there’s nothing like a good hot soup or a delicious salad at Qulma. Soups for me are a real feel-good-treat, and when I found the all-you-can-eat-soup-buffet that Café Qulma offers, I knew it would be a new regular spot of mine.
The soup lunch buffet (served from 11:00 – 14:30 on weekdays) is famous amongst locals and very popular. Three delicious soups, a selection of “goodies” to add (pumpkin seeds, croutons, cream, noodles etc.) and the most delicious freshly baked bread completes this perfection. Everything is fresh and an absolute explosion of taste. If you fear that you will still leave hungry because it’s “only” soup, I can guarantee you: you won’t. Every time we left stuffed and happy :). Owner Mark has shared his favourite recipes in a book he published, and the creative heart of Qulma is working on new ideas all the time! Last time we got treated to a dessert pesto and a sweet chili sauce with yoghurt. SO good!
If you don’t feel like soup, there is an equally delicious baked potato buffet with all kinds of toppings, salads and sandwiches. Or just drop by for a delicious coffee and read a newspaper!
During the week, breakfast is served between 08:30 – 10:30, the Saturday brunch is open from 10:00 to 14:00.
