Having a good dinner near the Bosphorus is a must-do thing in Istanbul. Akıntıburnu is a good option for this. "Akıntıburnu" is a combination of two Turkish words; "flow" and "cape". Cape of flow. It's completely a seafood restaurant. Located in a very good point and serves good meals with not that much pricey.
The last time we went there was for the farewell of one of our colleagues. As a starter, we chose good varieties of Turkish mezes, then squid as a hot appetizer and fish as a main dish. They were all satisfactory. If you're lucky and find a table near the window, it'd be a great experience to see that kind of Istanbul view.
I don't smoke and don't recommend it, but if you are a smoker, good news for you. They have a smoker's part in there. Also, after dinner, you can find a lot of options for bars and clubs in that neighbourhood.
