This is the place to go for chocolate lovers. There are several varieties of delicious handmade chocolates with different flavours. You can buy pre-made chocolate boxes or create a new one with your own selections. But the reason I am writing here is definitely Asuman, the dessert that gave the shop its name.
They started in a tiny shop called Moda Chocolate Shop, which only served handmade chocolates and Asuman. As Asuman's fame spread through social media, the queues got longer and longer. That's how they decided to open Asuman, which has a bigger space and elegant decoration with an extended menu of desserts. Although they have added many desserts to the menu, many are still fans of Asuman, like me. Actually, there is nothing special about Asuman except its taste with just the right amount of excellent ingredients. It is basically strawberries and crunches covered with melted chocolate (they will add whipped cream if you like) and served in a jar.
Recently, they have opened a patisserie-like cafe just across this branch, and now my favourite dessert is no longer Asuman but their pistachio-brest. The best part is that you do not have to wait to find a seat in this one, and they also have Asuman on the menu.
One last thing to mention is their chocolate cologne which smells like chocolate heaven and has a lasting smell on your hands.
P.S. They have another branch of Asuman with more spacious seating in Akasya Shopping Mall.

Turkish Tea is had after each meal, and it's a reflection of hospitality. When in Istanbul, have it at small local tea houses in Sultanahmet.
