If there’s something even more exciting about discovering a new place for me than eating good food, it is getting to know the promising young chefs such as Gökhan, the founders of Banliyö Istanbul, located in Levent. The area is neither a touristic place nor full of sights to see, but if you like to taste new, local and quality products, Banliyö is the right address for you.
This small bistro has a cozy atmosphere inside. You can find a few tables inside and also a few others in front of it.
You can also find wonderful burgers, salads, wraps, soups and local delicacies that change every day. My favorite choice is the lamb arm wrap, which is cooked slowly at low temperatures and served with greens and lavaş (thin crispy pita like bread). Also, the daily soup offering is satisfactory.
The prices are also very reasonable, even though they use regional ingredients and quality products.
