Kırçiçeği in Ortaköy is my dinner place when I stay for overtime at the office. Although I’ve eaten there often, they have such a long menu I still have not had the chance to try it all. If you believe that when a restaurant tries to serve everything, they can not reach perfection in any of them: Kırçiçeği is an exception. For me they serve great soups, pitas and kebaps. Never disappointed.
This is a great place for Turkish fast food. I recommend a classic start with a soup (lentil and tomato soups are suggested) and pita or kebap as the main course. Pita with minced meat and cheese is a favorite. And for the kebaps, I can suggest Manisa kebap originated from the southwest of Turkey. My favorite combination: meat, tomato and yogurt.
I had friends over from London and they called it the best meal they’d had for months.
Kırçiçeği is recommended for a nice quick meal (no alcohol here) when you are in Ortaköy.
