If you are looking for delicious and authentic pides, then no look further. Pide is one of the Black Sea region specialities and Nelipide “combines the special and distinctive tastes of Ordu pides” as they state on their website. The taste of pides is doubled with the butter produced from the animals fed locally in Ordu. The pides are made fresh and served just out of the oven. The dough is rolled out thin and well-baked.  Let me warn you that the pides are huge, so order accordingly.

They have lots of topping options for the pides. We have tried minced meat and cheese without eggs; both the quality and quantity of the ingredients were excellent. They have vegetarian toppings as well. You can also have your own way of toppings mixed. In Nelipide Gurme, you can try other traditional dishes and breakfast from the Black Sea region.

As lahmacun is not the speciality of the Black Sea region but rather a Southeastern region of Turkey, lahmacun in Nelipide Gurme is not the best in the neighbourhood, but it is still good enough.

Even though they bring forks and knives when you order pide or lahmacun, don’t bother with those and eat with your hands as locals do. That’s the best way to enjoy those delicacies before they cool off and lose their taste.

There are both indoor and outdoor tables at their Göztepe branch. The place is clean, and the service is fast. The prices are reasonable.
