Jerusalem local? Help us start a blog for your city!

Dome of the Rock, Jerusalem (by Stacey Franco)

One of the next city guides we would like to launch as part of our mission of promoting authentic culture is Jerusalem, the capital of Israel!

Jerusalem is by no means an unknown city; most people have at the very least heard of it. However, most of these people know little of it, beyond its religious importance. That is why we need you, the people who know Jerusalem best, to help the world understand what your city really is about, from a local perspective.

Palestinian Woman in the Old City of Jerusalem (by Levi Meir Clancy)

One of the oldest cities in the world, as well as the single most known for its spirituality and its connections to different religions. Iconic landmarks such as the Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre are all but a few of the reasons people visit Jerusalem. But what is there to this city beyond pilgrimage destinations? How do people who were born here, or who have been here for a long time, go about their lives? These are questions that only real locals like you hold the answer to, which is why we are asking you to tell your own stories.

So what is it like to experience Jerusalem like a local? Where can you get the best coffee or local hummus? Where do locals relax or celebrate? This is what we and many travelers want to know!

Are you a Jerusalem loving local?

We aim to show visitors (and locals!) the real culture of Jerusalem beyond the tourist highlights.
