Strange thing but every time I want to eat out I can think of many places but in the end I go to Linas. It’s true that the interior is ugly, and the place is small, and it’s more like a fast food joint where everybody keeps coming in and out. But there are two things that make this restaurant special and one of my favorites. The best Döner Kebab ever and the location!
It is situated in the building of Bessarabsky Market – the very center of Kiev. By the way, this is one of the most ‘kebabish’ spots of the city. I can recall around 5 Doner Kebab bars in the same building! Eat that, Istanbul! But none of these spots sell Döner separately on a plate like Linas does! I think this is very important that you can manage your Döner by yourself. For just about uah 70 you have your flatbread, meat, salad, veggies, humus, and the best ever garlic sauce, plus, they have french fries there! I usually ask if they can take out the potato and add more salad – this is how I excuse my unhealthy dinner.
Besides DIY Döner there are a lot of tasty Halal Middle Eastern dishes, such as Falafel, Kofta, Airan. I also suggest the minty smoothie called Limonana.
