This is a story of all those IT office employees, who dream of finally opening a bar one day. Adam Howell did. An American married to a Ukrainian girl, together with a friend, launched a tiny space offering quality mixology among the walls colored a deep blue. Shabby design with freaky niches with huge Lego parts and rubber gloves to play with. Hard to explain – easy to come and see, it’ll be fun!
Adam is an experienced barman and mixologist with well-known and popular projects in Kiev. This time it is all about approach, combinations of ingredients, new styles and unusual tastes. For example, an Octoberfest dedicated bar list with cocktails including beer – Ukrainian mass market, local crafted, imported. Might sound weird, but you should try it.
Adam introduced thematic evenings dedicated to different topics, like literature in cocktails. It’s a small bar for those who want to know more and discuss things, it is not about bar crawling in this case. Definitely a nice spot if you like to chat to the barman.
Buuut, not for those who like to have a glass or two of red wine or a platter of nice cheeses. This place is for sours, home made bitters and negronis. Join the booze!
