Puzata Hata has a simple self-service system; you take the tray, go with it and choose the dishes. You pay at the end for everything you have taken with you. The best thing is the food itself. It is natural to all Ukrainians, things that families cook at home nowadays. And the great thing is that prices are very reasonable as well. For example, you could have a large portion of borsch (famous traditional soup) for 30 UAH (~1$).

Food is of good quality. If you are in a hurry, it is a good option since all the dishes are ready, just grab and eat. And apart from some fancy hipster restaurants, it is an excellent place to taste Ukrainian dishes, the kind all Ukrainians usually eat. There are both old national dishes and the ones that became popular in families during USSR-period.

I used to come here as a student, and nowadays I come for lunch on working days or sometimes even for dinner if I’m in a lazy mood for cooking at home or if I want to meet someone. All over the city, there is a chain of these places usually located in malls. During lunch hours there could be queues, but at other times you should be fine.
