Dworek Białoprądnicki is a 14th-century manor house that famously hosted some of Poland’s most acclaimed artists. Today it serves as a cultural center offering everything from art exhibits to yoga for young moms! For two more weekends, you can enjoy summer outdoor cinema and live concerts as part of Dworek Białoprądnicki’s ‘Letni Ogród Kultury’ project.
Every Friday and Sunday at 7 pm, Dworek Białoprądnicki becomes home to Krakow’s music scene. While Friday concerts require tickets (get them here: https://goout.net/pl/karrot-bialopradnicki/szerujr/), Sunday events are completely free! On 22/08, get ready for Eskaubei & Tomek Nowak Quartet ft. Mr. Krime – the only Polish band that combines jazz improv and, yes, rap music. Letni Ogród Kultury wraps things up on 29/08 with an alternative rock band Cheap Tobacco.
After the Friday concert, you can use your Saturday to relax and have a beer at Dworek Białoprąnicki’s garden, followed by a cinematic chill out in a comfy deckchair. ‘Knives Out!’, ‘The Gentlemen’ and ‘Parasite’ are on the menu. Please note that the last screening will happen on Friday (03/09) instead of Saturday and there are Polish subtitles only!
There’s truly no other place in Krakow I’d rather spend a warm summer day. Dworek Białoprądnicki offers a wonderful experience all around! You can start your day in next-door Park Kościuszki, take a walk, play badminton, stop by the ice cream cart (I highly recommend pistachio, it is divine), and then enjoy Letni Ogród Kultury!
