If you’re not yet familiar with the Swedish concept of fika, I’ll start with a few words of introduction. Fika is a coffee break, a social gathering, a caffeine-infused ritual with something sweet on the side – and that’s precisely the idea behind FIKA Kraków.
This teeny-tiny, pink neon-lit coffee shop is a gem tucked in one of the small streets between Old Town and Kazimierz. FIKA serves top class specialty coffee (and trust me, they know what they’re doing) and describes itself as a bike-friendly cafe. You can always expect to see some pretty bicycles facing its entrance!
The outside tables are perfect to indulge yourself on a cup of delicious coffee on a sunny day, while the interior is by far one of the most stylish spaces I’ve seen in town. It’s hardly a surprise, as the founder of FIKA is a part of an interior design studio. Drop by, have a taste of their coffee and see for yourself!
