Don’t hide your inner love for street food, guys! I know you dream of having the best-ever hot doggie, and staying in Kyiv doesn’t change that dream. Well, the spot that’s the 1st proper one for this is right opposite the Kreshchatik metro station exit.
The owner previously ran a Mediterranean restaurant downtown, but was just waiting for the right moment to come: the street food boom has just caught Kyiv in its arms, and now we know exactly what it should look and taste like. The right meat, bread, vegetables and sauces for the right hot dogs, as confirmed by my fiancé (an “advanced user”).
Fishy Singapore hot dog with a light Asian touch is great for the current weather outside. Greek frappé with thick cream and crushed ice is still there, definitely an all-season drink. And if the weather allows for it – b boys are back on track with their nightly performances (at approx 20:00).
Yasha, the owner, is talkative and friendly, he likes to meet people from all around the world and will give a bunch of recommendations for the city if asked. Enjoy a fast and slow day in Kyiv downtown!
Update: the new Bistro Bistro has just been launched in the new Lavina shopping mall and new place on I. Franko street
