Vian, a friendly and a little shabby chic place named after the French novelist, is great for a couple or more glasses of sparkling wine or cider. Situated in the very historical and touristy center, but hidden enough to remain a quiet place when the special occasion parties are not announced on Facebook. 

Real wine and aesthetics lovers with some relative experience in the bar business opened Vian in a quiet yard which makes summer and spring nights here just the perfect ones.

The wall behind the barman shows the entire food menu which consists of a big variety of nice cheeses, some of those rather special: Moucheron with dried apricots, goat with blueberries, mature Cheddar. Different types of meat starters are also there, as well as homemade dips: guacamole, hummus, pesto, tapenade. And yes, olive lovers also have a choice. 

The choice of wines is mostly on the shelves at the same wall, with useful tags – so you will see what they have yourself, unless it is a white or sparkling, which is kept in the fridge.
