The space is inspired by soul music and jazz. One of the walls has several portraits of famous musicians, such as Amalia, Cesária Évora, Lana Del Rey or Woody Allen. One of the partners plays the clarinet in his spare time.

On the menu there are several options and three different brunches – which is served only on Saturdays. There are some specialties from Cape Verde, such as the Creole sausage or corn couscous. The lunch menu includes a dish, a drink and coffee, either with meat or fish.

But I have some other suggestions, too: baked cassava with hot sauce, boards of cheeses and sausages, the sandwiches on rustic bread, or salads and burgers. For drinks you can choose teas and juices.

Through the windows you can see the bustling city life because this space is close to the city centre and you can also choose to sit outside on the street and enjoy the good flavours of Brooklyn. 

It is a super nice spot to take a break and plan a visit to other important spots nearby such as Princípe Real, Parque Eduardo VII or even for a shopping session through the wonderful shops of Avenida da Liberdade or just to rest your legs and listen to good music.
