“Musa da Bica” is the bar of the Musa brewery, an independent Portuguese craft beer factory! This place is located in a very cool area, close to the Bica Elevator which is a common touristic spot.
For me, taking a seat in Musa and grabbing a beer is actually more fun than visiting all the tourist spots usually highlighted in this area. They have a taproom with all the beers they produce, but you can also have their craft sidra in a bottle (spoiler: it is amazing).
They also have good snacks to go with the drinks. What you see in the photo is a delicious meatball sandwich with 2 craft beers (my favorites are “born in the IPA” & “frank APA” – they have very fun names!), but be aware that you may not find this sandwich when visiting – the menu of snacks is actually constantly changing together with the weekly news (and I like it! :P).
I definitely take my friends to Musa when they are visiting here, so I am glad to share this tip with you if you’re looking for a nice bar!
