Feira do Livro de Lisboa is the book fair held annually in the city, typically at the end of summer, at Eduardo VII Park. In 2022, its 92nd edition will take place between August 25th and September 11th.
This is one of the oldest cultural festivals in Lisbon, having been inaugurated in the 1930s. And this is huge! The fair basically takes up the whole park, and it is full of stands selling not only books but also magazines, board games and other geek things.
But that’s not all – there are some events there with national and international authors, music, food trucks and spots to have a drink. I really enjoy the vibe of the fair and usually I go more than one day every year.

Special tip: the fair usually has a thing called “Hora H” – some hours per day (usually late at night) where mooooossssttt of the books are sold for half price (almost all of them, really). I go crazy and spend all my money there :P. Have fun!
