I have to admit. This one is a favourite of mine. Not actually the spot itself but an event that takes place in Pastelaria Tentações every Wednesday. I decided to post this article because of my fondness for playing board games; and because I know of many that have the same love for it.
Every Wednesday, in Pastelaria Tentações, the Lisbon community of “board gamers” gets together to play. It’s a healthy and informal ambient where I can be found very often. For those of you into this hobby this is nothing new and for sure it will be interesting to check out; you can’t say no to a game with the locals when visiting them.
For those who do not really know what I’m talking about, this is an experience to consider. And I don’t mean to just take your kids; there are games for every age.
Board games have long evolved from the early versions of Monopoly or Risk; they are now more beautiful, more challenging, more fun and come in a much bigger variety. I’m absolutely sure there are games to please everyone who wants to try it out.
“Pastelaria Tentações” is a restaurant/snack serving meals (no more than € 6) and also cakes and snacks (around € 1) and drinks (around € 1 also). So there’s choice for you and your family including your kids.
