Although it seems like this little store has been around for a few years already, I only just stumbled upon it next to the Acton Main Line station. I was on the hunt for a quick breakfast on my way to work and got lured in by the storefront.
ByMax gives off a very inviting vibe, and has an elegant feel to it. You're getting breakfast ... but with a treat.
They have a selection of pastries and homemade sandwiches to choose from, fresh bread, and they even have a selection of wine you can browse through. The staff is very friendly, and if you check their website, you will be able to sign up for their upcoming events. They host 'cheese & wine' nights, wine tasting events, as well as block parties! You can even ask them to cater your own event.
As you find a lid for your coffee, you will also come face to face with a few crafty items they have on display. Notebooks, greeting cards
& other knick-knacks.
Compared to other bakeries and shops in London, they are a bit on the pricy side. A coffee and a sandwich set me back a hefty £11.
Is this ludicrous? Absolutely. Will I be back? Definitely.
It's just one of those places you come to love and keep going back to over and over again. If you're staying near or visiting Acton, make sure to stop by!
