Drink, Shop & Do (or DSD, as how they abbreviate themselves) is one of those multi-functional places in London – near Kings Cross – where you can have a snack (drink), buy stuff (shop) and participate in activities (do). The decor has a retro vintage feel and is actually really cosy. I have spent many hours here working during the day and no one rushes me out.
Their cakes are to die for, except for that chai-based one which wasn’t to my liking. They also have a special tea each month as well as a cocktail, which you can order any time of the day, I suppose. For the shop part, DSD offers small, unique stuff from independent designers as well as everything in the cafe/bar – chairs, wall decor, even your spoon!
The ‘do’ stuff that are hosted at DSD varies from tea towel printing, dirty dancing, Lego building, coffee tasting and many more. Check out their website for updates.
