Köd is a new addition to London’s steak and fine dining scene. With its unique Scandinavian touch, you can expect the best cuts of steaks and meats served with Danish finesse.
My favorite location is Köd City, located in a secluded courtyard away from all the fuss and crowds of Liverpool Street. Their terrace seating is ideal. The inside decor is a mix of Nordic simplicity mixed with British charm and really sets the mood for a memorable meal.
The staff is very knowledgeable and will help you pick your cut of steak, cooked to your liking. It’s one of the places that actually follows your requests and actually does cook your steak to the desired level (please don’t ask for it well done – it would be such a waste!)
I’ve tried both the steak and the burger, and I would definitely recommend going for the steak. The sides are delicious too, especially the grilled mushrooms. A perfect umami pairing.
A great spot for a casual lunch or an evening date! I’ll leave it up to you.
And remember… life is too short to die on an empty stomach – so make it count!
