Conveyor belt sushi, anyone? I have a great spot!
It's a special sort of craving, to want to see food parade down in front of you and have your pick. Kulu Kulu is always busy, but the staff is very efficient. They will take your order for any items that are not on the belt and help you identify dishes on there as well. Although for most of them, it's pretty obvious.
You will see things like tempura, sushi rolls (2 per plate), temaki (hand rolls), sashimi, teriyaki meats, stir-fried veggies ... and much more. The chefs prepare everything in front of you, so everything tastes very fresh. The portions are very generous, so you will be really full and get your money's worth.
There is a photo on the wall with the prices. Each item is on a specific plate, and there are 5 plates that cost anything between £3 and £5 per plate. In the end, you stack up your plates, and the waiter will add it up for you.
Make sure to bring a friend or a date, it's more fun with company. And as always, remember… life is too short to die on an empty stomach – so make it count!
