North of Regent’s Park is Primrose Hill, home to Primrose Hill viewpoint, offering views of the London Skyline. One of six protected viewpoints in London, it is 206 feet (63 meters) above sea level, and the trees around are intentionally kept low so as not to impact the view. There is also a plaque identifying the many famous landmarks you can spot, including the London Eye and The Shard.
If you’re looking for something to do after, you can walk to Camden from here following the canal, or cross Regent’s Park to get to Central London. For poetry fans, the viewpoint also features a quote by William Blake: “I have conversed with the spiritual sun. I saw him on Primrose Hill”. Fans of the series Sense8 should recognise this location from Riley’s scenes!
