The Bayroot London

The Bayroot – The best Lebanese in London

Elephant & Castle is an up and coming area with many new builds going up around the city blocks. Although there are many new developments, there are yet some less desirable spots that make it hard to find the ruby in the rubble. Having just moved close to South London we have been thoroughly exploring the local splendor and somehow spotted this gem hidden in the cracks of this busy street.

The Bayroot is without a doubt, my favourite place for Middle Eastern cuisine. I can’t even begin to describe how fresh and mouthwateringly delicious the food is. From the fresh salads and hummus, to the juicy meat platters and array of hot mezzes, I could honestly devour it all. Make sure to try their specialty Bayroot hummus and a sharing platter. The service is very welcoming and friendly while the rustic setting provides a relaxing atmosphere. Our server was even generous enough to send some of my favourite sage tea home with me on my way out.
